Storm Damage, Roof, and Leak Documentation

Published: May 28, 2024

We hope this message finds you safe and well. We are reaching out to you as the Managing Agent for the Windhaven Crossing Townhome Owner’s Association, Inc. We are aware of the significant storm that recently swept though the community. Our teams are currently onsite assessing the situation. Due to the ongoing weather conditions, the roofers can only evaluate and access roofs once rain has stopped, and it is safe to be on the roofs.

If you discover a leak in your home, please follow these steps to help us address the issue as promptly as possible:

    1. Take clear pictures of the leak, specifically where the water’s entry point is. If the water is from a leak in the roof/roof vent etc., please provide pictures of the ceiling or roof entry where water is believed to be entering the home.
    2. Provide a detailed description of the leak's exact location. (e.g, upstairs master bathroom, right side of home front facing near the leftmost corner of the room.). This will better assist the roofer in determining leak areas.
    3. Include your address and information. This includes address, name, and phone number. Our servers are currently down due to storm damage and to reach you faster, it would be better if this information was shared directly with us.

Please send the requested information and any additional storm damage to Canderson@essexhoa.com and Kennedy@essexhoa.com. Our team will be on the ground and ready to assist as soon as it is safe to do so. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this time.
