HO-6 Insurance Policy Required

We would like to remind Owners that maintaining a proper policy covering the interior of your unit (studs or walls in) is a requirement of the Association.
The best policy for condo and townhome owners is a policy typically named an HO-6 insurance policy. The Master HOA policy only covers building structures, roofs, and association amenity items so it is especially important for each homeowner to ensure proper coverage of the interior of your unit against a loss. Most HO6 policies will also have the option to include “Loss Assessment Coverage” for an added annual premium which can help an Owner recoup or cover special assessment charges levied in relation to a claim filed by the Master Association. Your Agent can provide more information on this coverage and how it works.
Please ensure that you have the appropriate policy type and necessary insurance coverage for your home. When renewing, updating, or changing your insurance coverages, please consider having your Agent send a copy of the updated certificate of insurance to us for your property file.
